The next CCP5 northern regional meeting (NASG) will be hosted by the High Performance Computing Research Group and the School of Applied Sciences at the University of Huddersfield on Wednesday 11th January from 2 pm.
Situated in the centre of the region, there is easy road and rail access from most other University towns's in the north.
The meeting will follow the successful format adopted in previous meetings in this series and other regional meetings held in the South West ans Scotland. An afternoon of short oral presentations from PhD students and early carear researchers, where the focus is research in progress, followed by a poster session and drinks reception.
The meeting should be a good chance to meet with collegues in a relaxed environment and to encourage postgraduate researchers to give talks the conference will offer bursaries equivelant to a saver return rail fare to all students who give a talk at the meeting.
